Sofia Game Night

For three consecutive years Goethe Institute Bulgaria organised their weekend-long gaming festival Sofia Game Night. From fast-paced shooters, classic nostalgia-filled retro gaming nights, all-the-board-games-you-can-play club shenanigans, to workshops for children, specialised in programming, robotics and VR. The challenge was to create an identity that carries all those levels of gaming in a language that speaks both to non-gamers and hardcore gamers. Each year we had to come up with a fresh but familiar take. Here are some design highlights from all 3 editions.
